The Concept 2 BikeErg Musta is the latest addition to the Concept2 ergometer product family. Featuring the same flywheel and Performance Monitor found in Concept2 Indoor Rowers and SkiErgs, it shares the same strengths and features of these incredibly successful machines. The flywheel utilizes air resistance to provide a consistent ride. The clutch, known as the “gearbox,” allows you to adjust the feel. Unlike most stationary bikes, the BikeErg features a clutch, just like a real bicycle, so that when you stop pedaling, the flywheel continues to spin. Adjust resistance by sliding the adjuster on the side of the flywheel. The PM5 monitor provides immediate feedback with data and multiple workouts to choose from. The monitor is calibrated, so you can immediately compare your times with others and track your progress. You can simply “ride” by pressing no buttons and see your results. If you’re seeking structured training, select a program from the list or create one yourself. You can even compete against your previous workout’s result. Results can be displayed in time, meters, time/km, watts, or calories.
