The old story goes that it was a gift from a Viking chieftain to the gods above. The chief, surprised by a stormy wind, begged the sky to save his troops from shipwreck and, after they were rescued, offered a golden ring as a token of gratitude to the gods above. The offering lay dormant in the coastal desert for the next thousand years. The legend is one of the oldest pieces of jewellery in the collection. Love is a Kalevala collection, reflecting the original design and strong storytelling of the Kalevala. The Love rings are made of 14 carat gold, which is 100% recycled.
