Kalevala Jewellery that brings the magnificent Viking artefacts of the 800-1050s within reach of today. The Vikings stopped off on their eastern trading voyage to the coast of Finland, exchanging fur for weapons and jewellery, among other things. Inspired by this jewellery from all over the world, Finnish jewellers made new jewellery which, surprisingly, took on a distinctly original, Finnish form. The jewellery created at that time has in turn inspired later jewellers to design jewellery that is distinctly Viking in spirit.
